Suspicious Emails

The biggest threat to the security of your Kijiji account is fraudulent spoof and phishing emails. Spoof emails look like real Kijiji emails, include links to "phishing" web sites and typically tell you that your Kijiji account has been disabled, locked out or suspended.

While these phishing web sites may also look like Kijiji, they are in fact fake sites designed by scammers to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details. To be clear, these emails and websites are NOT affiliated with Kijiji in any way.

We ask that you forward all suspicious email addresses and websites as an attachment (we need the original email) to phishing@kijiji.ca and then immediately delete them. For tips on keeping your Kijiji account secure when signing in click here

**Recently, we have seen a wave of emails stating that there are unreceived messages and that your inbox is blocked. They then request that you call a number to get unblocked. This is false as we do not block inboxes nor provide unblocking by phone.
