“You do not own the ad.”
Don’t worry! Your ad still belongs to you and should be editable. This error appears when you receive an email to repost or promote an ad for one account, but are signed into a different account.
To fix this, sign out of the account and sign back in with the email that received the link:
|Click the Navigation Menu button (appears as a person icon, Initial Icon, or your profile photo).
|Click on Log Out at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
|Sign into the account to which the email was sent and click on the link in your email again.
You will then be able to repost or promote your ad as expected.
