Cars & Vehicles Listing Fee

To continue Kijiji’s top-quality classifieds experience, we have limits to the number of free ads each household or business can post in the Cars & Vehicles categories. If you need more, you’ll be able to go beyond the limit for a small flat listing fee. No muss, no fuss, more ads!

When Fees Are Required

Listing fees are applied when members of a household or business post more than one vehicle at a time in one of the category groups. When a 2nd ad is created, a listing fee will be requested before it’s posted.

Note: This limit only relates to live ads. If you have reached the free limit, you will be able to post another free ad after the ad is deleted or becomes inactive.

Run Time of a Listing Fee

Listing Fees grant your ad a full 31-day period before they will need to be renewed and the listing fee will need to be applied again. If one of your free ads is removed during that time, one of your paid ads may then be reposted for free.

Posting as a Dealer

Dealer status may be applied if you post an above-average number of vehicles. This status indicates frequent buying and selling of vehicles, and therefore subject to listing fees. As a Dealer, you will also gain access to all of our Dealer benefits.

Once your account has been marked as a Dealer:

• When posting on web, free listings will no longer be available in the categories associated with your Dealer status, but will retain 1 free listing in other categories (ex. A Passenger Vehicle Dealer will be required to pay in Cars & Trucks, and Classic Cars categories, but may post 1 free listing in Heavy Equipment or Recreational Vehicles).
• When posting on the app, free listings will no longer be available in any of the listing fee categories (Cars & Vehicles, Real Estate, Jobs) 

Please note:

• You should only post one vehicle in each ad.
• You should only list each vehicle once, in the most appropriate city and category.
• Posting vehicles for sale from multiple accounts in order to circumvent our listing fee is strictly prohibited. If you are unclear about whether to post as a dealer or private owner, click here.
