Messaging an ad
| 1 | Open the ad you’re interested in. |
| 4 | When you’re finished, click the send button. |
You should see your message appear in the section above. That means it’s sent! To see all of your open conversations, select Inbox from the menu along the bottom of the app screen.
Receiving and Responding to Replies
When someone replies to you, you’ll get a notification in your email. If you’re using the Kijiji Autos app, you can opt-in for phone notifications as well.
To respond:
| 2 | Click on the conversation you want. You should see the entire history of your messages back and forth. To see more, scroll up. |
| 3 | Type your response into the message box. |
| 4 | When you’re finished, click the send button. |
Note: Messages between Kijiji and Kijiji Autos are linked. This means that you can reply to your Kijiji Autos messages when browsing Kijiji for other items.
Deleting Conversations
| 2 | Click Edit at the top of your message list. |
| 3 | Select all of the conversations you’d like to remove. |
After removing a conversation, it won’t be visible in your Inbox anymore. However, if you still have the email copy, you can reply there and the conversation history will reappear in your Inbox after a new message is sent.
