Kijiji cannot verify the legitimacy of these users, nor can we guarantee that they are not fraudulent.

Meeting Safely

When meeting a buyer in person, sellers should follow these precautions:

• Meet in a public place: Preferably a busy area such as a café, shopping center, or police station parking lot.
• Cash transactions: Check all bills carefully to ensure they are genuine before handing over your item.
• Electronic payments: Confirm that the funds have been successfully transferred and received in your bank account before giving the item to the buyer.

• • Be aware that fraudulent buyers may attempt to send fake payment confirmation emails or set up payments that appear legitimate but have not actually deposited funds.
